No need to summit mountains. Our coffee bar—complete with a La Marzocco espresso machine—brings the cozy charm straight to you, with hot coffee, cold drinks, and bakes that vanish faster than fresh pow on the West Coast.
Hi, I’m Alix!
The Warming Hut is my passion project and my creative outlet. After years of dreaming of owning a coffee shop in a surf town and at a ski resort, I finally decided to put the wheels in motion, literally.
With over a decade of experience in events and experiential marketing, I’ve helped shape integrated campaigns and memorable brand activations for some of the world’s most recognized names. That background, coupled with my passion for great coffee, paved the way for this new venture.
I grew up in the mountains on Vancouver’s North Shore, built part of my career in the Sea to Sky, and have found inspiration from travelling the globe. Creating a Canadian-inspired café where everyone is welcome is something that I’ve always dreamed of.
